The goal of music production and recording is to turn a simple idea or unfinished music project into a radio-ready recording. We cover the basics of programs like Logic Pro X and Ableton while learning microphone placement, signal flow, and sound design. Students work on projects ranging from hip-hop beats to acoustic ballads. They learn to mix and master their own songs as well as projects from their peers.
