Fundamentals of Acting
This course lays the creative and technical foundations for aspiring actors. Students gain the tools to begin their journey as performance artists while exploring the social and historical influences of theater. Through ensemble exercises, character work, and scene study, they develop their skills in a supportive environment. Both improv and text work are emphasized, alongside the ability to critique performances as both artists and audience members. By the end of the year, students leave with confidence in their craft and a deeper appreciation for the performing arts.
